Tips for cleaning my Nintendo DS?

Ok, so im trying to clean my nintendo DS, and i noticed that there is dirt and stuff around the edge of the bottom screen. I've tried whipes, tissues, eyeglass whipes, and more but i cant seem to get the dirt out of the edges of the screen. How do i get it out?

I dont want it to end up like my old ds, with the dirt UNDER the screen.

And some of the cleaning things i use just scratch the screen. (im trying to cleanin my new dsi, which i got 2 days ago, and theres already a little scratch in the screen from a cleaning pad).

Any tips?

You could try getting a screwdriver and manually unscrewing the DS, then just take off the part that is protecting the screen, then take a soft cloth and wipe the dirt off.
